Update

Just a quick little update to let you all know where I am at the moment. I have just arrived back form the National Cadet Competitions in Adelaide, South Australia. I managed the team from Western Australia and they did extremely well in all their categories! I am a very proud manager! All competitors were of a high standard and it was great to see the different styles of competing from around Australia. I only went over for the weekend of the competitions, but the National Camp goes for a week! 

 

Shortly before I left for Adelaide, there were a few bushfires burning around Western Australia. Although they are now extinguished, I had a blog ready to write up with some perspective from our side as a first aider, but also as a resident living very close to one of the fires. I have some videos and photos I would like to share with everyone. 

 

This blog has got to wait however because my memory card happens to be in Adelaide with the West Australians still on National Camp! We had taken photos for a Camp Challenge yesterday before I left then I had to give them the memory card so they could hand in our part for the challenge! I will also include a blog for the National Cadet Competitions with photos and videos when my memory card returns from its interstate trip! 

 

Just thought I let you all know that it's on its way!!
