Ok, so VICSES released a severe storm warning for Victoria approx 2 hours ago.....now its POURING but i can only see whats happening in Footscray.
Check out the quick clip i took of the rain, it last for a min & half, but as i write this another massive down pour is occurring...slowly getting lighter.
Why is this a concern you ask? Who cares, another rainy day? WELL as i have said in past past blogs April brings back memories of last April where it went nuts for 5 days! It was not predicted & happened out of the blue.... look at QLD and NSW again are flooding, how many of these have happened in the last 12 months?
EXTREME WEATHER...CLIMATE CHANGE....spread the word. Have to try and make this sound abit more sexier! hmm..i will think of something!
OR google extreme weather + climate change, ENDLESS reading for all!
Also, let me refresh everyones mind about Black Saturday, seems the hype about it has died down which is very disappointing. Kinda like when you go on a deployment, your full of adrenaline and its not until you get home that you hit a wall and everyone has forgotten what has happened and doesnt want to talk about it anymore. That seems to be the pattern with acknowledging extreme events & their link to climate change....everone just forgets after its removed from the media and not in your face anymore.
