Extreme Weather Heroes Briefing Weekend

Up or down (however you look at the geographics of QLD) we spent the weekend learning about our EXTREMELY extreme task!

 

The Extreme Weather Heroes weekend in Tallebudgera QLD Australia was a chance to meet the organisers and fellow heroes involved in the project. We also had guests (such as Mayor Ron Clarke from the Gold Coast) deliver Al Gores presentation on how Extreme Weather is linked to climate change.

 

Bottom line, extreme weather is linked to climate change.

 

The Generation Z is a scary thought....however when I was looking at the slide of a typical Gen X I couldn't help but think of 'mini Ruby' and her twin and how much time they spend text msg, facebooking, twittering, flickring!

 

Fantastic weekend and now I am GREEN and ready to go.... Move over CLOBBERELLA, there is a new justice team in town!
