Extreme Weather Heroes is a Gen Y led recruitment drive to inspire 20,000 young emergency volunteers of the future.

Last week Green Cross Australia organised the second annual Extreme Weather Heroes Summit - which brought emergency service volunteer from around the country together with science, media and social networking experts.

In this eNews we are proud to welcome new Extreme Weather Heroes Liz Cantor, Jo Buldeski and Aaron Purchase. We hope you enjoy getting to know them, and learning how amazing these ordinary people really are.

We accept the consensus view of climate scientists that greenhouse pollution poses a serious risk to future generations.
