November 2009
Welcome to Extreme Weather Heroes – a Gen Y led recruitment drive to inspire 20,000 young emergency volunteers of the future. Our movement supports communities through the floods, bushfires, heat waves and storms of a changing climate.

This e-news covers CSIRO’s extreme weather predictions followed by a heads up from The Weather Channel about what the summer of 2010 has in store.

We continue to welcome new Heroes from across the nation to the team - this months addition is Dean Adams from St John Ambulance Victoria.

If you like what we’re up to and fancy a 5-star green rated sexy new car, buy a raffle ticket to support your Heroes.
